The Ghosts need your support!

Dear friends, family, comrades, supporters,

After some minor setbacks (including a leak in one of our pontoons) the Riff Raft is ready to depart! After our launch at the U of M, we began to sink, so we pulled our raft up on shore, hoisted it in a tree, and watched water drain out for a good few hours...then we patched the holes, made sure there weren't any others, and relaunched it the day before yesterday.

Then, yesterday we journeyed the long distance from just north of the Franklin Avenue bridge to just north of the Marshall Avenue/Lake Street bridge. Hooray! Everything worked great, and we find ourselves in good standing to finally depart!

We will be leaving on Monday, June 21st, and will be having our send off party tomorrow (June 20th) night at twilight 6pm, at Hidden Falls. Please don't hesitate to call 612-386-0403 with any questions! There will be ghosts, performances, a potluck BBQ, and canoe rides!

Once again, we would like to thank every single person who has helped us get this far. Every contribution, whether a monetary or non-monetary donation has provided the buoyancy that has been absolutely essential. We give you all our deepest thanks, as we now transition into manifesting in reality all that we have thusly dreamed.

The unfortunate thing about almost sinking, really, is that pulling it out of the water and relaunching it was a fairly costly venture...
